Welcome to Henstead Fields!

A truly rural and peaceful campsite, tucked away on the edge of the small village of Henstead in North Suffolk. Here, life slows down — yet we’re perfectly placed for exploring. Within just 15 minutes you can reach the charming seaside town of Southwold, or wander through the beautiful market towns of Beccles and Halesworth. Our 2026 season runs from Friday, 20th March 2026, through to Monday, 12th October 2026. We look forward to welcoming you for another season of peaceful countryside camping!

Who We Are
We’re Sarah and Callum, parents to our two lovely daughters, Nellie and Clemmie. This is our family-run campsite, and we take great pride in keeping it relaxed, friendly, and welcoming. While we promise a peaceful atmosphere, you might occasionally hear our girls’ laughter as they help us around the site — it’s all part of the family charm!

A Quiet Escape
Henstead Fields offers a simple, no-fuss camping experience where you can pitch up and unwind with only the local owls, muntjacs, and pheasants for company. On a clear night, the stargazing is unforgettable — we might be biased, but we think it’s some of the best in Suffolk.

A True Countryside Setting
Our campsite is delightfully remote, with the nearest pub about two miles away in the village of Wrentham, where you’ll also find a handy village shop and a lovely new café — perfect for a morning coffee or light lunch.
